I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting, Accountability, and Management Finance at King’s College London.
Why did you choose the UK as your study destination?
I chose the UK for its straightforward application process, especially facilitated by the sixth-form I attended, Westerfield College. They helped me gain admission to Swansea University for my Bachelor’s. Also, I have family here, which made it easier to transition.

My experience at Westerfield College was positive. I formed strong bonds with classmates who continue to support each other. The curriculum closely mirrored UK education, using Cambridge materials that familiarized me with key concepts in accounting. The guidance from lecturers clarified my course choices and expectations.
So far, has your study experience been anything like you expected before arriving?
Yes, my academic experience matched my expectations, thanks to Westerfield’s preparation. However, I was unprepared for the cold weather, which initially impacted my motivation. I also faced challenges connecting with British students, but I gradually overcame this by networking.
