Approved Student Visa Application
When your study permit has been approved, you will receive a letter of introduction and in some cases, a temporary resident visa from your country’s Canadian embassy. These documents along with your valid international passport and all other essential original documents used at the point of registration will be requested upon your entry into Canada.
Once the immigration officers are satisfied with your proof of study, they will give you your student study permit and you can enter the country.
Rejected Visa Application
A student’s visa application can be rejected if the student does not meet certain requirements. There are two major reasons for study permit application rejection.
• Insufficient Proof of funds: Your visa application will be rejected if the proof of funds submitted does not show that you can support yourself as a student for the period of your stay in Canada.
• Police report: If your police report shows that you have a criminal record, there are chances that your study visa application will be rejected.
In the event that your application for a Student Visa is rejected, you can always reapply and work towards meeting the requirements.
