The African Postgraduate Scholarship program by the University of Birmingham is designed for full-time MBA applicants. It is awarded based on financial need, academic excellence, relevant experience, and evidence of a commitment to the economic development of Africa.
To be eligible for this award, you must meet the following criteria:
- Genuine financial need.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Must be from the following countries: Overseas (Non-EU), Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, The, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
This award is valued at £28,980 and covers only postgraduate candidates.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must apply for admission in an MBA program at the university. After this, you will send your application, CV, and personal statement to the university.
